Yesterday was SNSD Taeyeon's special day, her birthday!

As expected, fans all over the world celebrated it so to express her gratitude and to share what she did on her special day, here is Taeyeon's birthday message.

Every year it seems that I receive so much that I don’t really know what to do, and also feel a bit embarrassed. Today, I mean yesterday, was spent happily. I had a party with those I love most, ate food, and took pictures. Hehe. Thank you and love you to my members. I love Sone as well.

You worried a lot because I hurt my toenail didn’t you? To be honest, complete recovery will take a while, but it’s getting a lot better so worrying is a no no no.

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon to be an MC for the ‘Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards’

Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon has been chosen to emcee for the first Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards.

On February 22nd, Taeyeon will team up with composer Joo Young Hoon to lead the three hour event at Seoul Hannamdong’s Blue Square Samsung Card Hall.

This awards show will honor deserved recipients from 2011, with the data being drawn from digital music sales and record sales. Music industry professionals — including producers, composers, lyricists, choreographers, stylists, and more — will be present alongside artists and idols, making it a real mainstream music festival.

Some of the awards that will be given out this year include: “Artist of the Year”, “Rookie of the Year”, “Producer of the Year”, “New Find of the Year”, “Composer/Lyricist of the Year”, “Style of the Year”, “Oricon Special Award”, and “K-Pop Contribution Award”.

Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, the Wonder Girls, B2ST, T-ara, SECRET, Davichi, Leessang, Girl’s Day, Huh Gak and more will be present for the first Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards.

The event will be aired at 7:00 p.m. (KST) through KBS Drama and KBS Joy as well as through Daum.

ZE:A’s Dongjun selects SNSD’s Taeyeon as his ideal woman

A press conference for ‘STAR DATE with ZE:A in BRAZIL’ was held at AX-Korea on the 26th, and each of the members revealed their ideal types.

Dongjun picked Taeyeon, admitting that he had been a fan of hers even before he made his debut as a singer. His fellow members confirmed that Dongjun really did like Taeyeon, gaining interest from fans.

Meanwhile, ‘STAR DATE with ZE:A in BRAZIL’ is a program which will air through ArirangTV. On the show, Dongjun and Kevin will travel Brazil with the local fans and even go on dates in order to spread K-pop awareness.
