8 Ways To Find Someone Good For You

Take any one woman, ask about her romantic history, and chances are she’ll admit to having dated men who treated her badly or weren’t right for her. You do have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince! Here are some hints to weed out the frogs, and find that good guy …

1. Be Confident
If you want to attract a good guy, it’s very important to be confident in yourself, otherwise you are likely to fall for the first man who shows an interest. Know that you are 100% deserving of a good relationship.

2. Like Yourself

As is often said, how can someone else like you if you don’t like yourself? If you’re not happy inside, you will bring that unhappiness into the relationship, and could well end up with someone who uses your insecurities against you.

3. Avoid Desperation

Men can detect a desperate women a mile off. Many will run, but some will take advantage of this. I know – I’ve been that woman who really wanted to be with someone, and so ended up with a guy who did not treat me well.
4. Take Your Time
Where’s the hurry? A good guy is worth waiting for. This doesn’t mean that you have to stay single – after all, you won’t get to know a guy if you don’t date him – but avoid getting too serious too quickly. And be wary of a guy who tries to pressure you.
5. Learn From The Past
Learn from the past, but don’t live in it. In order to build a positive relationship, we need to have moved on from previous boyfriends and not repeat the same mistakes. Forgive yourself for making mistakes, and that will help you be ready for someone who will treat you better.
6. Know What You Want
Be aware of what it is that you want. If you want a steady, committed relationship, don’t date commitment-phobes or known cheaters. On the other hand, if you aren’t interested in a serious relationship then look for a guy who also wants a fun but not serious time.
7. Happy Single
Yes, you need to be happy single before you meet someone who’s good for you! After a long period on my own, I’ve realised that I do like being single but am also open to meeting the right guy.
8. Other Interests
In the early days of a new relationship, it’s tempting to forget about the outside world and only want to be with this person. That can be too intense though. Make sure that you have your own interests and friends, so that you don’t burn each other up too quickly.
